Cacao Ceremonies: Online and In-Person - A Space for You
Join me each month for an online or in-person cacao ceremony; a chance to pause, recharge, and reconnect. This isn’t just about spirituality; it’s a safe space to reflect, unwind, and prioritise yourself. Cacao serves as a tool for emotional nourishment, supporting your journey towards balance.
These ceremonies are designed to help you let go of stress and tune into what your body needs. Through meditation, journaling, EFT and quiet reflection, you’ll find clarity and peace, without any judgment or expectation. You don’t need to follow any particular belief system, just come as you are.
Online ceremonies are aligned with the full moon each month and accessible from anywhere. You can keep your camera off if that feels more comfortable. This is your time for you to connect with yourself, not to perform. Plus, you’ll be part of a supportive community that shares the intention of healing and personal growth. Cacao isn’t provided with your ticket, so please make sure you order some in time or bring your favourite herbal tea.
And if you're local to the West of Ireland, I also host monthly in-person cacao ceremonies in Bloom Wellbeing Studio in Ballinrobe on the third Wednesday of the month. I have also just started ceremonies in Headford Solas centre on the last Friday of each month. These offer a chance to connect face-to-face in sacred, supportive spaces.

Safety Information
Cacao is safe for most people.
But…
If you have been advised not to exercise due to a heart condition, cacao is not suitable for you.
If you are pregnant and are in your first or second trimester, 28g of cacao is the highest suitable daily dose. If you are in your third trimester, 20g is the highest suitable dose. If you are breastfeeding, start with 20g to see how your baby reacts.
If you are taking mood altering medication and are on a high dose or a mix of medication, 20g is the highest suitable daily dose. If you are on a medium dose, 28g is the highest suitable dose. If you are on a low dose you may consume up to 42.5g in one dose.

There’s no one right way to bring cacao into your life. You might use it as a morning ritual, a midday break, or to reflect at the end of a busy day. The key is consistency and presence, not perfection.
Start with a simple step: make a cup of cacao, take a moment, and breathe. That’s it. Over time, this can become a daily or weekly rhythm—an opportunity to check in with yourself, slow down, and just be.
Cacao doesn’t require any special tools, skills, or rituals. It’s simply about carving out time for you.

Preparing Cacao for ceremony
Preparing cacao is about slowing down and connecting with yourself, not about getting it perfect. Here’s an easy way to prepare ceremonial cacao:
Measure 42.5g of cacao (feel free to reduce if necessary).
Heat 200–250ml of hot water or plant-based milk. Add a little to the cacao and mix until smooth. Add the rest of the liquid and stir. Keep it warm, but not boiling, to preserve the nutrients.
Optional additions: Add a pinch of cinnamon, cayenne, or a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter.
Blend using a whisk, milk frother, or blender until smooth and creamy.
