A quiet moment just for you - no goals, no pressure, no expectations.
This gentle online gathering is your invitation to pause. We’ll meet as a small group from the Sweet and Spicy community, sip rich, pure cacao together, and be guided through meditation and reflection to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more anchored in yourself.
You don’t need any experience - just curiosity, a mug, and a willingness to receive.
Your ceremonial cacao will be posted to you ahead of time, along with a simple guide so you know exactly how to prepare it.
What is a cacao ceremony?
A cacao ceremony is a relaxed, guided space where we drink ceremonial-grade cacao, a rich, traditional chocolate drink used for centuries in Central and South America to support emotional wellbeing, clarity, and connection.
It’s not about performance or doing it “right”, it’s simply about slowing down, listening in, and letting the cacao support you.
During this 90-minute ceremony, you might:
Sip your warm cacao and settle into a cosy spot
Be gently guided through meditation and reflection
Notice your mind calming and your heart feeling a little lighter

About your cacao
This isn’t hot chocolate. Ceremonial-grade cacao is pure, minimally processed cacao from the Criollo bean, an ancient variety grown, harvested, and prepared with the intention of being used in ceremony.
It’s rich in magnesium, iron, antioxidants, and theobromine, a gentle stimulant that boosts focus without the jitters of coffee. Many people say they leave a cacao ceremony feeling more present, grounded, and connected to themselves.

Start with a simple step: make a cup of cacao, take a moment, and breathe. That’s it. Over time, this can become a daily or weekly rhythm—an opportunity to check in with yourself, slow down, and just be.
Cacao doesn’t require any special tools, skills, or rituals. It’s simply about carving out time for you.

Preparing Cacao for ceremony
Preparing cacao is about slowing down and connecting with yourself, not about getting it perfect. Here’s an easy way to prepare ceremonial cacao:
Measure around 40g of cacao (feel free to adjust depending on your preferences).
Heat 200–350ml of hot water or plant-based milk. Keep it warm, but not boiling, to preserve the nutrients.
Optional additions: Add a pinch of cinnamon, cayenne, or a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if you like it sweeter.
Blend using a whisk, milk frother, or blender until smooth and creamy.
